Art Festival of Arrow Rock, Missouri

It was David's first art show and we weren't really sure what to expect.
Our goodfriends Mark and Judy Moebeck came along
to lend their assistance and moral support.

We arrived around lunch time on Friday claimed our space and got the tent up

David did a great job setting up the booth - which he insisted on doing by himself while the rest of us dined at Bunny's Bed and Breakfast.

The Tiffany lamp received a blue ribbon and was one of the very first pieces to sell. It was hard for us to let it go as it had been a constant light in our living room for over a year. A nice local gentleman name John bought it to give to his lady friend for Mother's Day.
It was a very sweet gesture and we knew it went to a good home.

It was a beautiful day and we were fortunate to be next to some really fun folks. There was a pretty good turnout and David sold quite a few pieces.
He also took a several special orders for his more extensive designs, and was commissioned by American Metals Supply for a stained glass company logo.

Sue Hall, our host and also a local artist, gave all participants a very nice reception at The Station after the show which included libations and extraordinary appetizers.

Our party followed up with dinner at Lizzie's place, the Hutson House. She makes the best sangria and salad dressing we have ever had,
not to mention the great hugs.

If you have never visited Arrow Rock, MO, it is a nice day trip about 2 hours west of St. Charles
